We often find rust during the conversion process, the removal of rust and consequent frame repairs are not included in any quotes given, unfortunately there is often rust found in older vehicles.

The front has had extensive work and now like new,  New frame floor to roof, roof raised 200mm

Left picture shows a 12 volt Hydraulic Pump operates the levelling system, a separate battery and charging system may be required in some vehicles.  Right hand picture shows rear ram shows metal tubing and heat shield protection from the muffler,

The hydraulic control panel touch pad is positioned inside the vehicle.

Out door cooking area is provided by a pull out kitchen which locks in the extended position, then pivots around to be parallel to the side of the vehicle, a fold down leg adjusts to height to level the BBQ, LP gas is turned on automaticly via a micro switch controlled solenoid valve when BBQ locks in deployed position.

An extension bench slides from the left hand side adding work area, the dometic sink with mixer tap has hot & cold water, RCA audio & video plus TV arial outlets along with 24v & 240v power makes this a complete out door entertaining  area.

In this Austral conversion a roof top "Ibis" air conditioner is used in conjunction with a ducted air conditioner to give separate climate zones  An automatic satellite TV system has been installed into the disused vehicle air conditioner pod.

The Austral Motorhome gets it's power from 4 x 195 watt solar panels which charge the 520 a/h AGM batteries.

Left picture shows a full size shower complete with roller screen, also guest robe and draws shown. the toilet is located opposite and sliding door separate this area both ends to make a private room.  Right picture shows the toilet and vanity opposite the shower.

Electrical compartment located above the fridge and concealed by a roller door.

The large well equipped kitchen boasts extensive storage, Corian bench and moulded sink top the New Guinea Rose Wood cabinetry.



The front of this vehicle has seating for driver plus three passengers, this cockpit section has concertina door to close off the rear of the vehicle.

The  front section also becomes the entertainment area with a large LCD TV dropping down from the cockpit ceiling, a drop down computer desk to the passenger side aids navigation, the cockpit is heated / cooled via the ducted air conditioner.
